Junior Beef Grazing Project 2003 - 2004 The rules and regulations for the 2003-2004 Junior Beef Grazing Project follow.
The project is co-sponsored by the Louisiana Cooperative Extension Service and the Louisiana Cattlemen’s Association. Awards for the contest will be presented at the LCA annual meeting held in January 2004.
Please note the 2003-2004 Awards for the Junior Beef Grazing Project. ALL RECORDS MUST BE COMPLETED AND SUBMITTED AT THE TERMINATION OF THE PROJECTS for contestants to be eligible for these awards.
Entry forms must be submitted by November 1, 2003. They should be mailed to: Dr. Terry Dumas, P.O. Box 25058, Baton Rouge, LA 70894-5058. Weigh Stations will be designated after the entries are submitted.
The Wax Company, Inc. of Amory, Mississippi has agreed to donate the ryegrass seed for each project if the contestant would like to use Marshall or Jackson ryegrass seed. Merial, Ag Vet Division, will supply Ivomec dewormer to use on the projects. Fort Dodge Animal Health will supply Synovex implants and Cydectin dewormer for the projects. Schering-Plough Corporation will supply Ralgro Implants for the projects.
