 Purchases of Early Equipment & Cattle

Purchase order from 1947 for two mules, plows, planter, fertilizer distributor, and corn to feed the mules.  This purchase was some of the first equipment for the Hill Farm.  These were purchased from Mr. A.L.Norman of Homer.

Purchase order from 1956 for four Hereford bulls from Oklahoma State University that became the foundation sires of the Hill Farm's beef herd.   The PO was signed by Dawson Johns, Superintendent and approved by Ed Glaze for the Louisiana Agricultural Experiment Station.
Purchase order dated 1956 for 72 heifers that were the foundation females of the Hill Farm's beef herd.
