INITIAL MAPS OF THE HILL FARM RESEARCH STATION

The east and west images are from an electronic scan of a map initially prepared by Thomas Hansbrough in 1949 (see legends). Mr. Hansbrough was the first forester employed at the Hill Farm and surveyed the property lines, roads, ponds, and buildings.

These are not to exactly the same scale due to the scanning process. The railroad track was used to divide the images and as a reference point on each image. To get a better view of the field numbers and acreage in each image, click on either map. The best way to print one of the images is to set the printer for landscape.
