This summary of raw data collected by an LAIS weather station is provided as
a public service by the Louisiana State University Agricultural Center,
Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering. Data are unchecked

Explanation of columns:
YEAR, DATE and TIME are as recorded by the datalogger, which is set to
Central Standard Time.
AIR TEMP is the value from the primary temperature sensor, in Fahrenheit
degrees, sampled at the time indicated.
RAIN is the depth of rain (in inches) that was recorded during the 5-minute
period leading up to the time indicated.
WIND SPEED is the average (miles per hour) for the 10-second interval ending
at the time indicated.
WIND DIR is the current wind direction at 10 meters. Values will range from
0-360 degrees, where 0 is north, 90 is east, 180 is south and 270 is west.
REL HUMID is the current relative humidity value, in percent. Values range
from 0 (no moisture at all in the air) to 100 (saturation). Values above 100
should be considered 100.
SOLAR RAD is the current solar radiation flux, in kilowatts per square
meter. Negative values occur at night because of upward transmission of
thermal radiation.
SOIL TEMP is the hour-ending value of the soil sensor at a depth of 10cm
below the soil surface, in degrees Fahrenheit.
