Bobby Matthews, PhD
Bobby Matthews was awarded a doctorate in English from LSU
in 1991. He directs the LSU Measurement and Evaluation Center,
which provides broad support in the area of educational measurement
through the collection, processing and evaluation of data for
institutional research. He serves on the University Assessment
Steering Committee and the Advisory Council for Student Needs
and Learning Outcomes. Since 1995 he has coordinated a faculty
committee undertaking a longitudinal study of learning outcomes
in the LSU General Education Requirement.
