GELATIN with CANNED FRUIT
INGREDIENTS DIRECTIONS
  • 1 package gelatin (4 servings per box)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • ½ cup cold water
  • ½ cup canned pineapple juice
  • 1 cup canned pineapple tidbits (can substitute other fruit)

1. Prepare gelatin according to package directions. Instead of using 1 cup cold water, use ½ cup cold water and ½ cup cold canned fruit juice.

2. Allow gelatin to set for 30 minutes in refrigerator, then fold in 1 cup of canned fruit. Allow fruit to finish setting.

Makes 4 ½ cup servings

Note: For a larger package of gelatin, use 1 ½ cup canned fruit.
